Top Fitness Guru
She claims she has dropped two dress sizes after splitting from her boyfriend Seb Chew.
But sources say the real reason behind Lily Allen's recent weight loss: she is paranoid over her "chunky" thighs, ankles and rear and has been mortified by magazine articles picking up on her larger lower half.
Her new management team have sent her to "Body Doctor" David Marshall in Primrose Hill, who has been giving her intensive diet and training sessions to help her tone her legs.
The fitness guru, who is famous for bringing model Sophie Dahl from a size 18 to a 12, has put Lily on his six-week one-on-one course.
And the results are not just showing on her lower half - the 22-year-old is also noticibly thinner in the arms and face.
The singer has cut out sugar and wheat, and is on a diet of fish, lean meats and steamed vegetables.
On top of this, she has to drink a special juice of ginger, beetroot, carrot, apple and celery, as well as concentrated artichoke and celery juice tonics three times a day.
Marshall - who can also boast Ant and Dec, Frank Lampard and Rio Ferdinand among his clients - is not known for mincing his words, and his training sessions with feisty Lily often turn the air blue.
A source says: "He pushes people very, very hard. He'll shout at her, 'Come on Lily, one more', and Lily will scream back 'F**k off you b*****d!'
"She is very conscious about how her figure is portrayed in the media, and is paranoid about her chunky bottom half.
"It was her new management team that recommended David, and they were keen for her to get back into shape. She has been working out every other day, with particularly gruelling exercises to get rid of her 'cankles' ? where her calves join her ankles.
"David makes her do controlled weight training, doing 25 reps with a heavy weight. It's pretty agonising, but Lily keeps coming back for more. She is four weeks into her six-week course, and has already dropped two dress sizes."
Rachelle Leah
There's not an MMA fan out there who doesn't know the name Rachelle Leah—and with good reason. The former Men's Fitness cover model began modeling at the age of 16 and has gone on to appear in a number of magazines and TV shows.
And now, you'll find the sexy host of Spike TV's UFC: All Access show burning up the pages of Playboy's November issue. Though she's appeared in the magazine once before as a clothed "Babe of the Month," this is her first nude spread.

Have you always been interested in fantasy sports?
Most women are very intimidated by [fantasy sports], but a friend of mine, who's been playing for 10 years, was like, "You have got to do this." So I got a group of girls together; some were former models who were my friends. We signed up for a fantasy football league and did a draft at my house-last year was my first year playing, this is my second year-and I could not get over how addictive it was. I made cheat sheets for the girls as well, thinking, 'They're not going to be paying a lot of attention.' Turns out, we were all out for blood. There were catfights. I'm still not talking to one of the girls. It was insane. I think girls can be even worse than guys. Guys can brush it off and say, 'Dude, that's not right' and then they're over it. Women are a different story.
Most guys would never guess that women could be that hardcore when it comes to fantasy sports.
With the smack talk going on, the catfights, the draft night - I thought some girls were going to have to go at it outside. I'm probably exaggerating a little, but not much. It became so competitive and I think women-especially if they're playing against guys-are going to be even more competitive because they've got more to prove.
If women started to dominate a fantasy football league, would guys be intimidated or impressed?
Oh, intimidated-absolutely. Guys want to keep thinking that this is their game. The truth is, it's not anymore.
Do men find it easier to approach women who are interested in sports?
One time, these guys were so intimidated to come to our table because they saw my girlfriend and I wearing jerseys and yelling at the TV screen. They were like, 'Whoa! What's going on over here?' But this is a whole new turn-on for men: women who can hold their own in a conversation about sports. My friends and I have gotten marriage proposals because of it! Another friend said that it was the best thing that happened to her relationship with her boyfriend. Now, she will get in the car and listen to sports talk radio on long trips.
How can a guy get his girlfriend interested in sports?
Some guys join 10 different leagues. I think it would be nice if they would ask their girlfriends to participate. Show her the ins and outs. Honestly, it does open up the conversation in a relationship. And how many relationships fail because the guy wants to be in front of the TV every Sunday and Saturday, and the girl wants to do something else? So my advice: guys need to encourage their women to get involved - that way you have less to be nagged about. It's a good move on their part.
What are the things you look for in a guy?
Oh, the question of the day. When it comes to sports, I would, of course, love it if a guy can hold his own in a conversation. If he likes to go to football games-if he likes Big 10 basketball, even better. If men can be really loyal to a team-if he's a huge Yankees fan or whatever-that carries a lot of weight in life too. That might mean that he's a pretty honest and loyal guy. Some of my best guy friends are die-hard fans of whatever team, and they tend to be good guys. That carries over to relationships...if you show some loyalty, then you might get it back.
Edith Labelle
Edith: I watch what I eat and work out at least 4 times a week.
Do you have any sports you play when you're not working out?
I like rollerblading in the summer and scuba-diving when I get a chance. I am also thinking of taking up Muay-thai boxing.
How do you motivate yourself to go to the gym?
It's easy. Knowing I have to get up in front of millions of UFC fans worldwide in a revealing outfit is motivation enough, but I would train regardless because I like to feel fit and take care of myself.
What's the most excited aspect of being an Octagon girl?
Having a front-row seat to the most exciting sport ever—MMA.
Have you met a lot of celebrities since becoming an Octagon girl?
Being a huge UFC fan , the chance to meet all the UFC fighters in person is a real thrill of a lifetime. All the guys are really friendly (outside of the Octagon) and I am really happy that I have had a chance to get to know George St-Pierre. He's a great guy.
What's your guiltiest pleasure?
I have a sweet-tooth, especially for chocolate desserts—but I never indulge more than once a week.
What's the first physical characteristic you notice in a guy?
Hmm . . . hard to decide. There's not one thing in particular. I'll notice a guy who is the complete package. Fit, but not too buff.
You're originally from Canada. What's the biggest difference between American guys and Canadian guys?
American guys are more intense and Canadian guys seem to be more laid-back.
How can a guy win you over?
I know its cliché but he has to be a gentleman and he has to be able to make me laugh.
Would you ever date a fighter? Why or why not?
I think it would be too hard for me to watch my boyfriend or husband take punches and kicks . . . even the winners get hit.
Do you have a favorite song you workout to?
I like to listen to house music when I work-out.
What's your favorite movie? Why?
The Notebook. Because I adore love stories—especially the ones that make you cry.
Would you ever fight? If so, who would you most want to step into the Octagon with?
I am not thinking of starting a career as an MMA fighter anytime soon if that's what your asking, but if you hurt anyone in my family or that I love, I'll drag you into that Octagon so fast your head will spin.
Your Octagon Girl profile says you enjoy skydiving. How many times have you jumped?
Three times so far. I can't wait to go again. I love the adrenaline rush.
What is it like to jump out of an airplane?
Kinda like jumping out of a tree, but a lot higher. Just kidding. You gotta try it to know.
Your bio says that you want a career in real estate. Where would you build your dream house and why?
I would have a small home in the Bahamas for the winters and spend my summers in Montreal. Its a crazy fun city in the summer with all the festivals and the night-life, and all my friends are family are here.
Tell me three things that not too many people know about you.
1) I'm a great listener.
2) I love animals, especially my little Yorkshire, Chico.
3) Although I would never do it in front of people because I am a lady and have manners, I can burp really, really loud when I am alone.
The Business Of Fitness Modeling
(You can find the answer at the end of this article.)
Not everyone agrees with the adage, "If you've got it, flaunt it." But, for those who have spent the time and energy to get their bodies into rock-hard shape, fitness modeling provides the occasion to strut their stuff and collect some green.
Flip through the pages of fitness magazines and it's not altogether difficult to find pictures of toned men and sensational women. Today, we'll examine what's needed to get into this seemingly glamorous business of fitness modeling, how much money is available, and who the superstars are.
Breaking into fitness modeling
Winning, however, doesn't guarantee success because the person taking home first prize may not have the qualities that a particular publisher is looking for. As in Hollywood, some fitness models just have "the look" and some don't.
Will Brink, author of Body Building Revealed and Fat Loss Revealed, advises prospective fitness models to network -- they should attend trade shows armed with business cards and high-quality photographs. Brink says that hopefuls should also look at the credits in fitness magazines, collect the names of publishers and editors, and send pictures directly to them.
In addition to being proactive, Brink says aspiring fitness models need to be aware of and steer clear of con artists. As the saying goes, if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Fitness models should be wary of anyone who offers to build a website for them at no cost. He says these deals can wind up in webmasters who pilfer the money that the site makes or they may post the pictures on porn sites. Another potential pitfall is photographers who offer to take pictures of models, yet are doing this as a hobby. Check references before hiring or signing on any dotted line.
At the start of her career, Candy Keane got hooked up with an agent of questionable quality. She paid, in her view, a great deal of money to an agency to land one job -- a $10 per hour gig as a promo model for Cadillac.
How much money can fitness models make?
"There are simply a lot of women who get photographs published in magazines, a few who get hired for individual jobs to do advertising or appear at booths in expos, and only a very few who actually make a living doing this kind of work," Dobbins says on his website. "It pays to remember that there is a big difference between a career and just a series of jobs."
Kim Lyons, a cover model for Muscle & Fitness Hers, agrees with Dobbins, sharing her views in that publication.
"Many models take jobs just for publicity," she said. "Even top magazines pay only an average $150 to $300 for a layout, and it takes as much as a 14-hour day to pose for that layout. When I modeled for clothing lines, sometimes I accepted free clothes as payment."
Transgender Contestant to Compete on Top Model
"My cards were dealt differently," Isis, a 22-year-old former receptionist, tells Us Weekly exclusively in its new issue, on newsstands now.
Hailing from Prince George's County, Maryland, Isis identifies herself as "a woman born physically male."
Will she be a role model?
"I like to help people, but I'm here to follow my dreams," she tells Us.
The inclusion of Isis is being hailed by GLAAD president Neil Giuliano as "an unprecedented opportunity for a community that is underrepresented on television.
"We applaud Tyra Banks and The CW for making this historic visibility of transgender people possible," Giuliano said.
Stomach Exercises for Women
Many women are in search to get that flat and sexy stomach, getting rid of all the fat and revealing the sexy stomach underneath.
Stomach exercises for women are slightly different than mens becuase women want a flat and toned stomach while men are in search to build more muscle and getting rock hard six packs.
Also, the fat in woman’s bodies is distributed differently than men so it is important that women find a guide to stomach exercises designed for women.
The best example we have found and review is by fitness expert and model Jennifer Nicole Lee. She is by far on of the top motivations for women and she offers her unique stomach exercises for women in her fitness program: How to Look Like a Fitness Model, Without Being One.
Not only was Jennifer Nicole Lee invited to Operah and Inside Edition, she is also featured in many fitness magazines becuase she lost over 70 pounds! While still being a great mother to her 2 children.
I really recommend you purchase Jennifer Nicole Lee’s Fitness program, but do you really need to buy it? The honest is answer is no, you don’t need to but you will really get ahead and closer to your goal if you do.
Here is an example I use often, say for example your computer brakes down. You know nothing about computer repair, so would you tamper with the computer and risk harming your computer more or would you call an expert that know how to repair computers?
The smart choice is to call on someone who knows about repairing computer right? Same goes with stomach exercises for women. If you are not a fitness expert or nutritionist than why go about trying to get a flat tummy on your own?
Best of all Jennifer Nicole Lee isn’t just another fitness guru out to make money, she understand how women feel, how it is like to hide under baggy clothes and envy fitness models in magazines. After giving birth to 2 children she was weighing for 200 pounds!
Not only do you get an audio with motivation but you get her secret to how she lost over 70 pounds while having a busy schedule and caring for her children. She knows that women can have a busy schedule and her program works around your schedule even if you think you don’t have time for exercising.
Don’t waste money on expensive machines, don’t waste money on gym memberships, don’t wast money on “healthy foods”. Learn how to get the sexy body you’ve always wanted and start buying the clothes you want to wear!

LT (Lemuel) Thomas
Some people are recreational athletes, occasionally playing sports to stay active or just have something to do. Others are more competitive, pushing themselves to the limit to see what they are truly capable of. Others still not only live the fitness lifestyle, they believe in it strongly enough to preach it with evangelistic fervor. Our current Bodybuilding Model of the Month LT (Lemuel) Thomas is a believer. LT admits that he has been involved in sports nearly all of his life, but his true passion is helping others to create their own fitness lifestyle.
"Fitness is my passion. I love seeing people improve their quality of life. I have a strong desire to help other reach their goals. I want to continue to change lives and be a health and fitness role model."
Jennifer Connelly
Jennifer Connelly subsequently was featured in mostly forgettable teen fare, with the possible exception of Jim Henson's "Labyrinth" (1986), in which she was overshadowed by David Bowie and a cast of Henson creatures....
Scarlett Tops Breast List
Editors at In Touch magazine gave the actress' "irresistible assets" top marks in the new best-breasts list, claiming Johansson has designer Isaac Mizrahi's wandering hands to thank for her ranking on the Best Cleavage In Hollywood poll.
Magazine spokeswoman Lindsay Loderstedt explains, "It's not unusual for Scarlett Johansson to receive loads of compliments on her ample chest but the level of appreciation reached a new high at this year's Golden Globes when fashion designer Isaac Mizrahi couldn't help but reach out and touch the
21-year-old's assets during a red-carpet interview."
The Lost in Translation star beat out competition from Jessica Simpson and hot Latina Salma Hayek on the breast list.
The “Hollywood Male Model Look”
Plenty of Eye Candy here for the ladies! (I owe you one guys.. Its coming soon.. “Land the Slammin Beach Body-Ladies Edition”.. A little advice for the ladies & plenty of pics for my boys!) I’m an avid reader of Gentleman’s Quarterly Magazine, Men’s Health, Details, & even pop open Men’s Vogue when I’m Scanning the Shelves @ Books-A-Million.. I don’t think there’s a perfect look because I see many models with different looks, but they all have a few things in common.. These guys are swarmed by women (the hottest women), they get paid because of their looks (highly compensated), and probably feel a little cocky (which as you’ve probably noticed, a little “cocky confidence” is a GREAT ingredient in building attraction with the opposite sex!) Lets look at a few of these guys & see how they can freshen up our look..
Who is this guy?
Jason Shaw models for Tommy Hilfiger, Versace, & Polo (among others I’m sure).. This guy is one of the highest paid models in the fashion industry & as you may know, dated Paris Hilton & Made a PG13 Naughty Tape with her (I Say Naughty Because I don’t Think They Actually “Fought the Good Fight” in it.. Just Coverage of Some Cute “Slap & Tickle”) I highlight him because he always seem to stay in great shape, & his look is very polished.. Jason’s chest is only 38.5 inches wide with a 31.5 inch waist on his 6′2″ frame. In bodybuilder world, that’s a really small chest, but notice how he’s still athletically cut & looks great. (Bodybuilders would panick if they shrunk to this size.. But Jasons paychecks aren’t shrinking..) As you can see the “sexiest” guys in the world aren’t stressed about big swollen muscles.. (I like to call the look these models have as “Tight, Lean, & Toned”.. Definitely attainable). He’s probably maximum 175lbs in this picture.. Jason won’t be winning any bench press competitions though (Which is Fine with Him…. & Paris!)
Bollywood's Shilpa Shetty goes into fitness business
The 32-year-old actress, who produced and stars in the video, said she made it in response to fans' questions about how she stayed fit.
"A lot of fans have asked about my fitness regime -- I think this is the best way to tell them what to do to be healthy," Shetty told reporters as she released the video in the Indian capital.
Shetty said her aim in producing the 72-minute video entitled Shilpa's Yoga, whose cover features the actress sitting cross-legged in a yoga pose, was "to make it simple for people to do yoga."
"It can be done by a 10- or 60-year-old," she said, adding yoga had a "spectacular impact" on her own life.
"It has helped my mind, body and soul," said Shetty, who also recently launched a perfume.
Shetty made the headlines last year when she won British reality show Celebrity Big Brother UK, during which she faced racist attacks by housemates.
Months later, she made news again when Hollywood actor Richard Gere showered her with kisses at an AIDS-awareness event in India.
The incident, aired on TV, sparked a firestorm in India, where chaste public behaviour is a tradition. Shetty blamed India's "lunatic fringe" for the uproar in which effigies of the pair were burned.
At Friday's news conference, Shetty denounced Bollywood's new "size zero" craze, spawned by media obsession with Indian star Kareena Kapoor's slender new figure.
"Size zero is something very unhealthy. I'm a size eight," Shetty said.
"Today fitness in India is a style statement. My idea of fitness is to be healthy. Even if I am slightly bulky, I am well-toned, I am happy," she said.
