Get Sophie's glamorous look

This month, the British model launches her first novel, The Man With The Dancing Eyes, said to be based on her dalliance with Mick Jagger.

Sophie Dahl, 24, is single and divides her time between London and New York. She is the face of fashion house Pringle and shoe company Patrick Cox.

Health and fitness

Sophie was famous for being a voluptuous, larger-sized model, but has worked out vigorously with top fitness trainer David Marshall, known as The Body Doctor.

She is transformed from a size 16 to a size 8.

She follows a strict diet, but drinks alcohol at parties and has not been able to give up smoking.

Skincare and cosmetics

Sophie prides herself on her porcelain English rose complexion. When she has had too many late nights, she relies on Guerlain's Issima Midnight Secret Late Night Recovery Treatment (£29.50 for 15ml), nicknamed 'sleep in a bottle'.

She has visited celebrity facialist Eve Lom at her salon and been to the Elemis Day Spa in Mayfair for the Wellbeing massage.

Sophie uses the Elemis bodycare range at home, especially the Skin Nourishing Milk Bath (£35.50) and Exotic Lime and Ginger Salt Glow (£32.5).

She creates translucent skin using Urban Decay's 4-in-one Powder Foundation (£21). She favours pale pink glossy lips and uses Urban Decay's Lip Gunk (£8.50).

Fashion

As the face of Pringle for its spring/summer collection, Sophie likes its classic twinsets that start at £65 for the tanktop and £95 for the matching cardigan, which she wears in pastels.

She is always well-groomed, and even jeans are teamed with coats and smart jackets. For glamour, she turns to Versace. Daytime chic is by Joseph.

Shoes

At 6ft, Sophie does not need heels, but she is still partial to them. Advertising the Patrick Cox Wannabe collection, Sophie wears the 3in heels (from £110), available from the Sloane Street boutique, but she also wears their loafers when out shopping.

For glitzy parties, she finishes her outfits with spiky heels from Manolo Blahnik or Versace.
